Translated from Spanish, the words "la ventana" mean "the window." By displaying artists' works in a picture window located at 533 Manhattan Avenue in Harlem, LA VENTANA 533 enables individuals to engage with art directly while remaining compliant with social distancing requirements. The organizers hope that viewers will come away energized to imagine and construct a more equitable society.
